Fear Not

Fear Not
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with my victorious right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10.
This is a really simple equation. Religions make it far more difficult to understand. If we trust G-d, we will have no fear. Terrible things will befall us and those around us, yet we will not be paralyzed with fear because we trust in G-d. Indeed, He will support us with His right hand – a victorious hand, a helping hand, a strong hand. The ‘us’ are those who trust Him – ‘they’ are those who do not.
Part of my testimony was realizing this and applying it to my life. In March of 2020, while everything was being shut down in Minnesota and the demonic governor of the state was banning church services, mandating masks and social distancing, and dividing people between essential and non-essential distinctions I decided I would have none of it. I vowed to never wear a mask. When the tests came out I refused all of them. I refused to go to the doctor. I refused to avoid taking ibuprofin. I warned everyone I could to stay away from whatever monstrous ‘vaccine’ was going to be pushed as the cure for the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus. And, after being affected by the fear campaign for a week, I said the words, “G-d will take me when He is ready – on His time – and these evil men and their evil technological applications will not dictate that time, nor will I, G-d and only G-d will.” In effect, I gave my trust to G-d and G-d alone. I chose the ways of G-d over the ways of men.
I did this with the full knowledge of Matthew 10:28-33:
“28 “Do not fear those who kill the body but are powerless to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body in Gei-Hinnom. 29 Aren’t sparrows sold for next to nothing, two for an assarion? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s consent. 30 As for you, every hair on your head has been counted. 31 So do not be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.
“32 “Whoever acknowledges me in the presence of others I will also acknowledge in the presence of my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others I will disown before my Father in heaven.”
The way I understand this is that we need to be in awe of the one who is able to rend our souls. Men do not need to be feared in any sense. We should not be trembling nor full of awe nor filled with reverence for men. Those manifestations of fear need to be reserved for G-d. Particularly, fear, as awe, should inspire us to want to follow the ways of G-d in the first place. We should be looking at G-d not with terror framed on our faces but with reverence – a profound form of awe mixed with utter respect and love. We know that G-d can send us to an eternity of separation from Him. This, and only this, is what should terrify us. It should be terrifying pondering the implications of an eternity of separation from the light, from the truth, and from the ability to seek the truth, power, mercy, and glory of G-d. Men do not merit such emotion and neither does anything else on this earth – that trepidation needs to be reserved for G-d and G-d only.
And we are told in the passage above one of the ways to pacify the terror we should experience when pondering eternal separation from G-d. Do not deny the Messiah – Yeshua HaMashiach – many call him Jesus Christ. Now, this took me a long time, too long, to really understand – the descriptions of the Tabernacle and the Temple in the Old Testament are an effort to relate the details of the Temple in the heavens G-d created. If we cannot recognize this, misunderstandings will abound (and have abounded) regarding one of the most quoted of the teachings of Yeshua - “Yeshua said, “I AM the Way — and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me”” - John 14:6.
These words of Yeshua literally apply to the Temple described in the Old Testament. The ‘Way’ Yeshua referred to is the entrance to the Outer Court of the Temple. The ‘Truth’ is the entrance to the chamber containing the altar and the Holy Place of the Temple. The ‘Life’ is the entrance to the Holy of Holies where the Ark of the Covenant (the commandments of G-d inside) resided. To gain entrance to any section of the Temple, a certain level of holiness – being set apart for G-d – was required.
All of these sections were divided by curtains. The parokhet is the name given to the curtain separating the Holy Place from the especially Holy Place (the holy of holies) in the Tabernacle and the Temple. In Exodus 26:31-34 the creation of the parokhet is described:
““31 You are to make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely woven linen. Make it with k’ruvim worked in, that have been crafted by a skilled artisan. 32 Hang it with gold hooks on four acacia-wood posts overlaid with gold and standing in four silver sockets. 33 Hang the curtain below the fasteners. Then bring the ark for the testimony inside the curtain; the curtain will be the divider for you between the Holy Place and the Especially Holy Place. 34 You are to put the ark-cover on the ark for the testimony in the Especially Holy Place.””
The destruction of the parokhet is described thrice. In two accounts, Yeshua’s flesh yielded His spirit and immediately after, in Matthew 27:51, “At that moment the parokhet in the Temple was ripped in two from top to bottom; and there was an earthquake, with rocks splitting apart” and in Mark 15:38, “And the parokhet in the Temple was torn in two from top to bottom;” Luke 23:44-46 offers a different timeline with the same events:
“44 It was now about noon, and darkness covered the whole Land until three o’clock in the afternoon; 45 the sun did not shine. Also the parokhet in the Temple was split down the middle. 46 Crying out with a loud voice, Yeshua said, “Father! Into your hands I commit my spirit.” With these words he gave up his spirit.”
The fact is that Yeshua’s death and resurrection rendered the passage between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies in two because through Him we are able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Getting to the Holy Place, now, should be our primary concern – Jew and Gentile alike. To do that we need to trust in G-d. And to trust, we must follow what Yeshua taught about fulfilling the mitzvot (the commandments of G-d). He taught this as recorded in several places (Matthew 22:36-40 and Luke 10:25-28), most powerfully in Mark 12:28-31:
“28 One of the Torah-teachers came up and heard them engaged in this discussion. Seeing that Yeshua answered them well, he asked him, “Which is the most important mitzvah of them all?” 29 Yeshua answered, “The most important is,
“‘Sh’ma Yisra’el, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, O Isra’el, the Lord our God, the Lord is one], 30 and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding and with all your strength.’
“31 The second is this: ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other mitzvah greater than these.””
First of all, I wonder, has the reader ever uttered the Shema, the prayer included in verses 29-30? Trinitarians cannot in honesty recite the prayer. That’s why there is a doctrine of a three-in-one invented godhead. It intentionally seeks to invalidate the sovereignty of G-d by turning G-d into three pieces which is an invention of pagans reading their paganism into the Bible. The Torah is not G-d, it is a creation of G-d. Yeshua is not G-d, He is a creation of G-d. The Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) is not G-d, it is a creation of G-d. Repentance is not G-d, it is a creation of G-d. The moon, the sun, the earth, the heavens, the Throne of Glory, Gehenna (Hell), the name of the Messiah, the Garden of Eden, nor the Temple in heaven nor the Temple on earth are G-d – they are creations of G-d. The souls in us are creations of G-d. These facts destroy the doctrine of the Trinity which was created in Rome in order to denigrate the mitzvot.
That’s a controversial take. It’s one I stand by; however. In order to achieve entry into the Holy Place we need to obey the commands of G-d. These are in the Torah. We do not need to do this because the mitzvot will provide salvation (prior to Yeshua this was their purpose), we do mitzvot to show love to G-d. When Yeshua charges us to love G-d, He is instructing those with ears to hear to do as G-d commanded Moshe on Mt. Sinai when He instructs us to love G-d. This is often misapplied and, worse, completely ignored.
Finally, those with eyes to see notice their neighbors and seek to love them as we love ourselves just as Yeshua instructed. The details of how to do this are expanded upon in the Torah as well. When we see our neighbors in need we should assist them as our means allow. Yeshua offers an example in Luke 10:29-37. The Torah speaks about loving a neighbor as we love ourselves over and over again including in Leviticus 19:16-18 which reads:
“16 “‘Do not go around spreading slander among your people, but also don’t stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is at stake; I am Adonai.
“17 “‘Do not hate your brother in your heart, but rebuke your neighbor frankly, so that you won’t carry sin because of him. 18 Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.”
The passage in Luke 10 is about a man from Jeruslaem who was attacked by robbers and left injured on the side of the road. A priest comes by and does not stop to assist him. A Levite passes and does not stop. A Shomron (Samaritan) comes upon the man, however; bandages him, places him on his own donkey, and takes the man to an inn where he tells the innkeeper to watch over the man as he heals, pays the innkeeper to do as asked, and promises if the expenditures exceed the payment already given the remainder will be paid in full upon the Shomron’s return to the inn. Yeshua’s teaching ends paralleling the teaching in Leviticus 19:16-18 in Luke 10:36, ““Of these three, which one seems to you to have become the ‘neighbor’ of the man who fell among robbers?” 37 He answered, “The one who showed mercy toward him.” Yeshua said to him, “You go and do as he did.””
Clearly the commands of G-d recorded in the Torah are the same commands being taught by Yeshua throughout the New Testament. This is central to being holy and qualifying for entrance into the courtyard of the Temple and the Holy Place. Yeshua is the curtain between Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. Thus, we need to put ourselves in the right place to make our entrance into the Kingdom of G-d, the entrance Yeshua provides for us, as easy as possible. We should do this because G-d so commanded us to do so, and Yeshua, too commanded us to do so. If that explanation is not sufficient for the reader, do these three things – do not deny Yeshua, love G-d by obeying His Commandments, and love your neighbor as you love yourselves. All of this is based on trust in G-d and trust in G-d will extinguish any fear of men any of us may or may not have. Trusting G-d is anathema to the fear of men which many men demand we live under.
Look at our world.
We have the United States and NATO doing everything it possibly can to prop up a literal holdover from Hitler’s Nazi regime in Ukraine with an apparent agenda of initiating a global thermonuclear war. Cries of defending democracy resound over the issue of arming Ukraine – a democracy which features banning churches, indefinitely suspending elections, and sentencing the men of Ukraine to death through a draft. The leadership of Ukraine has routinely gone on missions to beg for armaments and money from foreign nations interested in escalating Russia’s incursion into Ukraine into a full-scale global thermonuclear war. It is also a democracy which is demanding to be rebuilt as a completely digital society.
The Russian’s, for their part, have inflicted grievous wounds on the United States and the West by partnering with Brazil, India, China, South Africa (BRICS; as well as other nations) with the intention of upending the US dollar as the global reserve currency. This has not fully impacted the US dollar yet; however, it has caused issues with trust in the US dollar (affecting it’s stability), with some nations already doing all they can to avoid using the US dollar for trade. BRICS nations as well as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Mexico are notable examples of this movement. The movement is broadly called dedollarization and portends the rise of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The United States is and will suffer drastically as this transition continues and will eventually lead to the United States moving fully onto a currency based on CBDC and the control over what is able to be purchased and by whom….
The US, for it’s part, has already made headway into adopting digital currency as it’s new currency system by attacking cash through intentional inflation while offering FedNow services which will serve as the backbone of the whatever CBDC the US offers (FedCoin). The Federal Reserve has taken to flat out lying to the people about coming out with FedCoin (or something akin to it) while efforts to ban the Federal Reserve from doing so have passed the US House (HR 5403) and is going to likely languish in the Senate Committee chaired by Sherrod Brown an Anti-Semite (he claims a love of Israel, the secular state, but abhors Judaism and the Torah, the faith of the people of Israel), anti-human (he loves murdering babies), anti-American (borders, police, free speech, and capitalism are all things which need to be gotten rid of in the US), and specifically relevant, anti-cash:
“The Federal Reserve’s report [link inserted by me] is a good first step toward designing a central bank digital currency that will bring more Americans into our banking system and help maintain the United States’ leadership in the global economy,” said Brown. “I look forward to working with the Federal Reserve and the Biden Administration to ensure that workers, small business, community banks, and credit unions can continue to participate in our digital economy.”
I can sum that up succinctly – Sherrod Brown not only hates you; he hates this nation, he hates G-d, He hates truth, and he hates anyone who trusts G-d in particular because he hates himself most of all.
It’s not just the Sherrod Brown’s of the world gaslighting us into World War III, advocating for the chains of CBDC to be placed around our necks, and feigning support for the nation of Israel while hating every Jew he comes across in order to claim that free speech needs to be eviscerated. The state of the world is terrible. We have homosexuals and transvestites running around in our streets demanding to be celebrated. There is a war in the Middle East where the righteous party is being demanded to cease their actions against a death cult. The ripple of Covid-19 and all of the intentionally designed artificial scarcity accredited to it (not to the actual culprits) as well as hundreds of millions of vaccine injuries and 33 million excess deaths (and counting) are still being felt. New rounds of Covidiocy with different names like monkeypox, ebola, and most recently bird flu are being rolled out. Food is being made from chemical compounds and genetically altered, created in vats and laboratories, not grown in fields or raised in pastures.
Unprecedented levels of illegality are being perpetrated in the courts, setting precedents which will fundamentally alter the fabric of the United States. Alex Jones was judged to be guilty without a trial for entertaining questions about a mass shooting. The trial he did receive was to determine how guilty he was. The intention was not to make the supposed victims of Alex Jones whole. The intention was to prevent Alex Jones from being able to provide a platform offering his opinions based on facts regarding major world events such as Covid-19, the rise of the alphabet mafia, and the build-up to a global thermonuclear war. He is expected to be ordered to cease all operations at his 25-year-old media organization, Infowars.
The same type of rigged trials, a new form of political warfare, in the United States at least, called ‘lawfare,’ has been perpetrated against others as well. Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, and James O’Keefe of Project Veritas have all been subjected to lawfare. Steve Bannon was recently sentenced to prison for his speech. Roger Stone was sentenced to prison for his free speech and pardoned by Donald Trump. James O’Keefe was ousted from Project Veritas in what amounts to a coup because of his free speech. Donald Trump has been convicted of 34 felony counts stemming from a charge of a misdemeanor which the statute of limitations had expired. A new law was introduced in New York in order to even charge Trump with the misdemeanor by extending the statute of limitation for that crime ex post facto – after the fact. The reason all of this was done was to silence Donald Trump.
To get the rest of us to buy into all of this debauchery our food, water, and air have been poisoned. We eat chemical concoctions, not food. Fluoride is dumped into our water supply. Planes spew toxins over the soil, the water, and us. Horrendous geoengineered storms, heat domes, and massive wind storms topping over 80 knots have been occurring with frequency, affecting the food supply. Due to these engineering feats and inflation, food prices are insane. The culprit is named as climate change and/or disease; however, these are engineering efforts designed to destroy the capacity for life to flourish – particularly the life we depend on for sustenance. These efforts target every aspect of our lives by turning food into a weapon with one of the primary targets being human reproduction.
From the 30,000 foot view, our world is being gripped in a combine designed to perpetuate fear in perpetuity. The fears being demanded from us are of man-made origins. We are supposed to be cowering in fear of the collapse of our currencies, fearful of the CBDCs being rolled out, fearful of climate change, fearful of man-made diseases, fearful of each other, fearful of the future. We are supposed to be fearful of the designs of men so that the most evil inclinations of men are able to manifest on this earth. These inclinations include a vastly depopulated world, ruled by fear of men, without the possibility of holding G-d in awe.
Do not fear these things. Speak against them. Refuse to submit to them. But do not fear them, fear G-d. In Ephesians 6:10-18 we are given the implements for conducting ourselves in the spirit of fearing G-d, not men, without respect for any individual situation:
“10 Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength! 11 Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary. 12 For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. 13 So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing. 14 Therefore, stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put on righteousness for a breastplate, 15 and wear on your feet the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom. 16 Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One. 17 And take the helmet of deliverance; along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God; 18 as you pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people.”
Finally, we are told, explicitly, in Matthew 24 what is to come and to be not afraid of what is to come. The chapter reads:
“24:1 As Yeshua left the Temple and was going away, his talmidim came and called his attention to its buildings. 2 But he answered them, “You see all these? Yes! I tell you, they will be totally destroyed — not a single stone will be left standing!”
“3 When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the talmidim came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that you are coming, and that the ‘olam hazeh is ending?”
“4 Yeshua replied: “Watch out! Don’t let anyone fool you! 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah!’ and they will lead many astray. 6 You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don’t become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come. 7 For peoples will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; 8 all this is but the beginning of the ‘birth-pains.’ 9 At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and all peoples will hate you because of me. 10 At that time many will be trapped into betraying and hating each other, 11 many false prophets will appear and fool many people; 12 and many people’s love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah. 13 But whoever holds out till the end will be delivered. 14 And this Good News about the Kingdom will be announced throughout the whole world as a witness to all the Goyim. It is then that the end will come.
“15 “So when you see the abomination that causes devastation spoken about through the prophet Dani’el standing in the Holy Place” (let the reader understand the allusion), 16 “that will be the time for those in Y’hudah to escape to the hills. 17 If someone is on the roof, he must not go down to gather his belongings from his house; 18 if someone is in the field, he must not turn back to get his coat. 19 What a terrible time it will be for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that you will not have to escape in winter or on Shabbat. 21 For there will be trouble then worse than there has ever been from the beginning of the world until now, and there will be nothing like it again! 22 Indeed, if the length of this time had not been limited, no one would survive; but for the sake of those who have been chosen, its length will be limited.
“23 “At that time, if someone says to you, ‘Look! Here’s the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ don’t believe him. 24 For there will appear false Messiahs and false prophets performing great miracles — amazing things! — so as to fool even the chosen, if possible. 25 There! I have told you in advance! 26 So if people say to you, ‘Listen! He’s out in the desert!’ don’t go; or, ‘Look! He’s hidden away in a secret room!’ don’t believe it. 27 For when the Son of Man does come, it will be like lightning that flashes out of the east and fills the sky to the western horizon. 28 Wherever there’s a dead body, that’s where you find the vultures.
“29 “But immediately following the trouble of those times, the sun will grow dark, the moon will stop shining, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in heaven will be shaken.
“30 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, all the tribes of the Land will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with tremendous power and glory. 31 He will send out his angels with a great shofar;[g] and they will gather together his chosen people from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
“32 “Now let the fig tree teach you its lesson: when its branches begin to sprout and leaves appear, you know that summer is approaching. 33 In the same way, when you see all these things, you are to know that the time is near, right at the door. 34 Yes! I tell you that this people will certainly not pass away before all these things happen. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
“36 “But when that day and hour will come, no one knows — not the angels in heaven, not the Son, only the Father. 37 For the Son of Man’s coming will be just as it was in the days of Noach. 38 Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up till the day Noach entered the ark; 39 and they didn’t know what was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. It will be just like that when the Son of Man comes. 40 Then there will be two men in a field — one will be taken and the other left behind. 41 There will be two women grinding flour at the mill — one will be taken and the other left behind. 42 So stay alert, because you don’t know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But you do know this: had the owner of the house known when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you too must always be ready, for the Son of Man will come when you are not expecting him.
“45 “Who is the faithful and sensible servant whose master puts him in charge of the household staff, to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will go well with that servant if he is found doing his job when his master comes. 47 Yes, I tell you that he will put him in charge of all he owns. 48 But if that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is taking his time’; 49 and he starts beating up his fellow servants and spends his time eating and drinking with drunkards; 50 then his master will come on a day the servant does not expect, at a time he doesn’t know; 51 and he will cut him in two and put him with the hypocrites, where people will wail and grind their teeth!”
Bad things, from our perspective, are going to happen. The cause is increased distance from Torah. If we wish things to go well with us, we will do what we are supposed to be doing – follow the ways G-d has designed for us. When Yeshua comes and finds us, we would be wise to be doing this upon his arrival. When He is coming, no one knows. Until He comes we should not be living in fear of those who are destroying the world, we should be loving G-d and loving one another as Yeshua commanded.
We need to be doing what we can to be permitted into the Holy Place. We cannot do this if we are living in fear. We must turn to G-d and seek His face through obedience to His ways. If we had been doing this the whole time the world would not be so filled with fear. So...
Fear not.
Bless G-d and G-d bless.
